Patrons of The Cameri Theatre Association

The Patrons of The Cameri Theatre Association is a philanthropic community of more than 400 members, including individuals from the top of the Israeli business section and supporters worldwide. The Association was founded in 1993 to promote and assist Israeli theatre and the local culture. Etty Caspi was the founder and the first chairperson of the Association, and the first honorary president was Leah Rabin. Today, the chairperson is Michal Fuhrer, and the director is Keren Arazi Oranim.

Since its establishment, The Patrons of The Cameri Theatre Association has endorsed several projects that significantly impacted the Israeli cultural landscape. To name a few: donating theatre tickets, mobilizing productions of The Cameri Theatre to Israel's periphery, supporting young theater creators, bringing culture and theatre to young people from across all sections of the Israeli society. In addition, during the Covid crisis, while the entire cultural world was darkened, the Patrons of The Cameri Theatre Association members initiated a unique aid fund dedicated to supporting the theater's actors and employees.

Membership in the Patrons of The Cameri Theatre Association
Joining the Association is the best way to get closer to The Cameri Theatre. Being a patron brings unique benefits. There are three paths of memberships in the Association to choose from:

Individual Patron
• 7 premium tickets to 7 festive premiere events annually, including an exclusive meet and greet.
• 50% discount on tickets for additional productions with priority seats annually.
• Guided backstage tour – by prior arrangement.
• Recognition in the theatre's programs and in the annual repertoire booklets.
• Personal handling by the Association office.
Annual cost: 3,000 NIS

Patron Couple
• 14 premium tickets to 7 festive premiere events annually, including an exclusive meet and greet.
• 50% discount on tickets for additional productions with priority seats annually.
• Guided backstage tour – by prior arrangement.
• Recognition in the theatre's programs and in the annual repertoire booklets.
• Personal handling by the Association office.
Annual cost: 5,000 NIS

Honorary Patron Couple
• 24 premium tickets to 7 festive premiere events annually, including an exclusive meet and greet.
• 50% discount on tickets for additional productions with priority seats annually.
• Guided backstage tour – by prior arrangement.
• Recognition in the theatre's programs and in the annual repertoire booklets.
• Invitations to special events held at The Cameri.
• Privet inventions to rehearsals of new productions - by prior arrangement.
• Personal service by the Association office.
• Free programs on premier eves.

Annual cost: 10,000 NIS

Membership in the Patrons of The Cameri Theatre Association is recognized under the Income Tax Ordinance as a donation under section 46.
