SHVILIST
On the Israel Trail
By Elad Shippony
You don't have to walk 1,000 kilometers along the Israel Trail to experience the magic of the journey. Go beyond the places on the map and discover the Israel found along the way – through its people, stories, songs and unexpected encounters. Inspired by Israeli storyteller and performer Elad Shippony's own thru-hike of the Israel Trail, SHVILIST brings that journey to life on stage.
Blending storytelling, live music, humor and cinematic visuals, Elad is joined on stage by two musicians as stories flow into songs – from beloved Israeli melodies to familiar classics by artists with surprising Jewish and Israeli connections. Following more than 200 performances of its Hebrew-language production across Israel, enthusiastic reviews and audience acclaim, SHVILIST now brings its theatrical journey to English-speaking audiences.
Written, directed and performed by: Elad Shippony
